In 1998, upon leaving a large, multinational investment bank, Mr. Coughlin, Cavlov and Hemberger leveraged their investment experience and started Delta Capital Management. All three partners came from the same value investment philosophy background. Each offering a unique approach and specialty, while still adhering to the value outperforms the growth strategy.

William F. Coughlin, CFA
Before joining Delta Capital Management in 1998, Mr. Coughlin was Managing Director at Scudder Kemper Investments, and its predecessor firm. He served as a portfolio manager and a member of the Investment Committee since 1988. From 2003-2005 Delta was owned by ING Group, N.V. where he served as a Senior Portfolio Manager. Delta was spun out from ING in May 2005. Mr. Coughlin spent seven years working for NYNEX Corporation. Through 1987 he served as Investment Director for NYNEX’s $12 billion pension fund. In that capacity he headed investment research, asset allocation and quantitative equity analysis, and managed the fund’s $650 million in-house portfolio. He also served as Director of Investments for the NYNEX Foundation during his tenure. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts, and served on its membership committee. He has made numerous speeches and presentations throughout the world on investments in cities such as Moscow, Vancouver and Zurich.

Anthony J. Cavlov
Prior to joining Delta Capital Management in 1998, Mr. Cavlov was a portfolio manager at Scudder Kemper Investments since 1993. He served as Portfolio Manager for the firm’s separate/individual accounts. In addition he managed the wrapped fee client portfolios and was responsible for equity research, screening and modeling. He was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at ING from 2003 to 2005.

Michael M. Hemberger
Mr. Hemberger worked as a specialist in quantitative equity and company research, options modeling, and investment strategy analysis at Dreman Value Management, prior to joining DCM. He was also responsible for systems and operational development at Scudder Kemper, serving as a Vice President for over five years. He was Vice President and Portfolio Manager at ING from 2003 to 2005.
